The weather was beautiful the whole weekend; sunny with temperatures in the mid-high 80's.  It was nice!

We had a little problem with the throttle sticking, so we changed the hiem joint on the throttle and greased the linkage.  That seemed to do the trick.

The track was a little slippery and we thought about changing the gear, but our pole setting qualifying time was three seconds faster than the 2nd position Camaro of Chuck Piazza.  We felt we had a good handle on the situation...and we were right.  The Olds lead start to finish!

Chuck Piazza went off course mid-race and did not finish.  Lee Collins in a silver Monte Carlo finished 2nd and 3rd went to Todd Corley in the #33 Camaro.

The really cool thing about the weekend was that Dave received a checkered flag and did a victory lap.  That is unusual in SCCA.

Our son, Mark, and Michael Hooten were a big help this weekend.  Thank you!
