1974 Kawasaki 750 HB2 Triple...
Dave always liked the 2-stroke Kawasaki Triple motorcycle. We found one in Wisconsin that had been modified quite a bit, but needed some attention to make it work correctly. Since it had already been modified with some nice upgrades, Dave decided to do a resto/mod in a cafe racer style.
After our test ride, the bike required jetting & carb tuning. We removed the flat slide carbs and reverted back to the original round slide carbs to simplify the mixture tuning.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the handling and braking of the bike. It displays none of the characteristics that the magazines warn about. Of course, on the other hand, I'm not riding it on the high banks of Daytona either.
